H.O.L.E. - The Disillusionment of Mike and Eva
In 2003 Victor Verhaeghe co-wrote, co-produced and starred in a feature film called H.O.L.E. - The Disillusionment of Mike and Eva.
The film is about a well meaning married couple who run a volunteer homeless organization where they steal cosmetics from the company they work for and give them to the homeless. Along the way they run into a young homeless man who carries a guitar. This young man is the son of a formerly famous folk rock singer who killed himself several years earlier. The kid has been wandering aimless ever since. But his father owed bad people money because of his drug habit, so the kid has to pay.
It's funny, it's sad, it's dark and it's different.
If you'd like to purchase a DVD copy of this film for the low, low price of $9.95 you may send Victor an email and he can hook you up.
